Triple shooting turns deadly

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - One of the victims, 21 year old Raymond Bailey died.

The victims who survived are 18 year old Denise Johnson and 19 year old Tasima Hawkins.

The crime tape in one garbage can is a fresh and painful reminder of Saturday night's shooting.

Diane Williams ran to the scene

Williams said, "I heard the gunshots and I came down here because I have two sons who hang out down here."

Her boys were okay but it turns out she knew the victim.

"They've been friends since they were little boys, you know and they're still in my home because my boys are totally upset and it hurts me to see them that way," she said.

Someone shot the 21 year old victim near Burgard Place and Doat Street on Buffalo's East Side.

It happened at 10 p.m. Saturday.

Cai Bui was closing up her corner store.

"I was in my kitchen and I heard three shots and I heard one shot and two shot and three shot," said Bui.

The neigbhorhood was quiet Sunday, just as it was when News 4 arrived at the scene Saturday night.

Unlike other crime scenes, there weren't many residents standing outside at this one.

Williams said, "Just too much happens over here."

If you have any information on the shooting, call the police tip line at 847-2255.
